Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate the body's natural healing processes and restore balance. Acupuncture services may include the use of cupping / heat therapy and manual body work in combination with needling to address various musculoskeletal issues. Chinese medicine methodology and herbal supplements may be suggested for patient if appropriate.

Acupuncture is also a great way to reduce stress. And, for patients going through chemotherapy, acupuncture may be used to address associated nausea and neuropathy.

Acupuncture appointments are distinct from the Health Consultant appointments and are not combined.

Health Consultation

These services are for motivated individuals ready to take a deeper look at their health, environment, food and water intake, stressors, emotions, and community support, to make decisions and changes aimed at improving longterm health and vitality.

For patients with a history of cancer, Dr. Forati uses the Terrain Approach to care and collaborates with patients to optimize their treatments by working on their terrain.

We start with a 15 minute complimentary call to assess patient and practitioner fit. A good fit will result in an invitation to Dr. Forati’s practice. Patients will fill out intake forms and questionnaires—once completed, patients are scheduled for an intake session to discuss their concerns.

We’ll discuss laboratory testing options including a baseline genetic test, functional blood work, and if needed, additional tests to form a complete picture of your current health.

NOTE: These appointments are consultations only and priced differently from acupuncture. In-person appointments are available for local residents, and patients who live anywhere in California can choose online appointments as well.
